Tossa de Mar: Platja Gran

Tossa de Mar is a well know touristic destination on Costa Brava. Top hotels, restaurants, shops, history, hiking trails and a fortress all in one place. Anything needed for a vacation.

Platja Gran is the largest beach in Tossa de Mar and you can make this photo by following Camí de Ronda up to Tossa de Mar viewpoint. Start your way from Cala Codolar and follow the path for aprox 500m, 15 minutes of walking. Remember that you’ll have to climb some stairs to the destination. Once there, try also the second viewpoint which is only one minute away. It benefits of the shadow of solitary pine trees, it has a long bench and it’s a good place to take a rest, read a book and enjoy the amazing view.

Guide:

Tossa de Mar has many parkings but you’ll have to pay for them during the summer months. There are also free parking spots (the ones marked with white) but it is almost impossible to find one in the summer, unless you’re very lucky. The payed ones are not cheap. Or… if staying for a vacation, look for a hotel with its own parking.
