Sa Tuna Cove and Village

Sa Tuna was initially a small fishing village established in the heart of what is known today as Costa Brava. It is a place of life with an ample collection of stories linked to those who left their footprint here: fishermen, tourists and public figures. Books have been written about it collecting local tales and describing its natural beauty.

Today Sa Tuna is a residential area that belongs to Begur municipality and the initial fishermen houses have been converted to vacation apartments. It also belongs to the most beautiful catalonian coastline. One of the most prestigious coves of Costa Brava are here, with crystalline waters and rich marine life. All interconnected by well marked hiking routes and a very good infrastructure.

Sa Tuna is also the name of the bay, quite crowded in the summer but intimate during the rest of the year. Actually is recommended to come and visit from late autumn onward to enjoy the natural landscape in your own pace.
