Salt de la Capa, Gorg Blau

Hidden deep into Gorg Blau (Blue Gorge), almost at the end of the path that goes along Sant Aniol River, there’s Salt de la Capa, a waterfall that is barely known by its name. To reach it one has to venture for hours through a wild landscape, follow long paths and river crossings and find the way through forests of moss covered trees.

Going deeper and deeper into Gorg Blau the nature changes dramatically. There’s only the sound of the river now flanked by high rocky walls and an untouched nature, frozen in time.⁣

Many decide to take the journey to reach Salt del Brull, the well known waterfall at the end of the footpath, but along the way there’s much more to see from what is already told. This small waterfall is surrounded by a luxuriant vegetation which contrasts with the location of Salt de Brull – completely surrounded by rock formations. Thus it has a warmer personality and provides more intimacy that makes it quite a stop. ⁣

It is the next point of interest after Sant Aniol d’Aguja sanctuary which has its own legend to tell.
